Not a big fan of the overpowering brickwall compression, but it's a cool sound, feels like a good mix between Carpenter Brut and Perturbator. RIP my ears though, I had volume on full when pressing Play.

OrangeFluff responds:

Oh uh-
I'm sorry for your ears o-o

Really nice sound. I feel like the chromatic bits are out of place in this piece, but other than that I like it a lot.

TheMusicalManiac responds:

I get it, its an acquired taste. Thanks for your vote! :3

I love the instrumentation and in general this is great, nice progression and a pleasant sound. Guitar definitely sticks out a bit too much though, I suggest lowering the volume and not panning it so far to the left; perhaps put some reverb on it as well for more atmosphere. Good work!

Edit: Better now! Guitar is still a bit too loud though imo.

DESHIEL responds:

Oh shit I didnt realise I had the guitar panned to the left :X

uploading a fix lol

A deep and interesting sound with nice variety. Good work!

ItsSnikio responds:

thank you!!

Cool song! It is rather repetitive in a few places, you could definitely make that better, but all in all it's pretty neat.

TekNoTaku responds:

Thanks bro, I will keep practicing to make better things. It's a long path, but I'll get there 🙂

Great song, I really feel the Carpenter Brut influence in this one! My only complaint would be the excess automation on the kick, like everything just goes silent when the kick plays, you could tone it down a bit. Good sound overall.

Lo23co7mcpe responds:

Thanks! I may have gone just a dB or 2 too far into the sidechain compression, thanks for pointing it out.

I like the composition a lot, though I feel like the sound is rather shallow in many places. Adding some sort of pad synth, or possibly choir, just having an instrument in the background could help a lot. The guitar in the second part starting at 1:50 could use some EQ'ing to make it more pleasant to the ears. A decent work all in all with great potential and room for improvement.

Lo23co7mcpe responds:

Hey, thanks for the feedback! Yup don't worry I learned to fix those mistakes, but this is a work I rushed in one day so I didn't really think about it at the time. Still thanks!

Neat song! I like the drums and the pace. What I think can be improved: The mix is a bit empty, particularly in parts without synths. I feel like the guitars could be louder. The song is somewhat repetitive; I think you're right that vocals would have given it more life, though you could also add lead guitar or other instruments instead. The short synth notes in the blast beat parts feel a bit out of place, perhaps reverb could make them sound better, or make the notes themselves longer. All in all, I like it, keep it up!

Nekro-Kitty responds:

Thank you for the feedback.

My goodness that's a lot of bass. I might even say a bit too much. The bass is a lot louder than everything else. That aside, cool song, nice and heavy.

guyfromKillerRAT responds:

Thanx for review, I personally like the bass a lot

I like the instrumentation and mixing but the... "glitchiness", the disjointed randomness of everything makes the song very hard to follow and I think it'd be much better with a simple beat and a continuous flow. Maybe go for polyrhythms and uneven time signatures instead, if you're intent on continuing this style.

DanZman responds:

Thanks for the advice Immitis! I will try and improve this in later songs with this style!

I create electronic music inspired by metal and darksynth. I make my music in FL Studio.
